Welcome to the WCVA Trustee and Governance website, a new resource for those who have volunteered to take on the rewarding challenge of running a charity or voluntary organisation.

The third sector comprises a wide diversity of non-profit organisations including charities, non-charitable voluntary organisations and social enterprises to name but a few. This resource is for all those who have responsibility for managing and administering these organisations, whether trustees of charities or governing body members of non chartable organisations.

On this website, we call all third sector organisations including charities: Voluntary organisations, and all governing body members including charity trustees: Trustees.
